摘要
Dance is not only an expression of cultural esthetic education but is also one of the most popular sports in Germany. A dance teacher works in afield of tension between the performing arts and teaching movement techniques. The main task is to teach dance techniques over a wide spectrum of target groups between amateur and professional areas. The work content depends on the dance style, the target group and the dance level. In addition, there are numerous tasks not related to dance, even if they are typical for the profession. The variability of the physical and mental workload is, therefore, high. This article deals with health aspects of this profession.
