摘要
Though in its formal infancy, research in engineering education has developed a substantive agenda for the coming academic generation. While compartmentalized into a variety of research areas, the methodology remains quite generalized and applicable to a wide range of engineering disciplines. In this work, we seek to address the epistemological issue of knowledge development through encouraged error and persistent remediation, commonly classified as scenario-based learning. We do so through the development of learning modules in Adobe Captivate, targeted for early undergraduate students in signals and systems. Through incremental assessment, we investigate the benefit to decision-oriented learning.
