An Unusual Case of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Involving the Vulva Evaluated by 18F-FDG PET/CT

摘要：
We describe an unusual case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma involving the vulva detected and staged by F-18-FDG PET/CT. An 83-year-old female patient with history of endometrial carcinoma underwent F-18-FDG PET/CT for follow-up. PET/CT detected an area of increased F-18-FDG uptake corresponding to a vulvar nodule; moderate and diffuse F-18-FDG uptake in the bone marrow was also evident. Based on these PET/CT findings, the patient underwent biopsy of the vulvar nodule. Histology demonstrated the presence of a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the vulva. Bone marrow biopsy was positive for lymphoid infiltration.
