摘要
Yockey's criticism of Elitzur's work and that of others on the origins of life is shown to be based on misrepresentations of the works criticized. Contrary to Yockey's claim that complexity and entropy are equivalent, the relation between these two quantities is shown to be much more subtle, yielding novel insights into the physical uniqueness of the living state.
