CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF A SAMARIUM(III) COMPLEX WITH 1,3,5-TRIS(1-IMIDAZOLYL)BENZENE

摘要
In this paper, a new samarium(III) complex with 1,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene(tib) was synthesized via the solvent thermal reaction. The single crystal of the complex is measured by X-ray diffraction and subjected to crystallographic and conformational analyses. The crystal is monoclinic: a = 8.5589(12) angstrom, b = 12.2883(14) angstrom, c = 21.109(3) angstrom, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 98.585(4)degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V = 2195.3(5) angstrom(3), space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, rho(c) = 2.044 mg/m(3), R = 0.0513. The asymmetric unit contains one samarium(III) center, eight O atoms from nitrate ions in solvent, and two N atoms from two different tib ligands.
