Enhanced photocurrent of perovskite solar cells by dual-sensitized β-NaYF4: Nd3+/Yb3+/Er3+ up-conversion nanoparticles

摘要
Expanding the solar spectral response near-infrared wave range is undoubtedly an important strategy that can enhance the power conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells. While, the up-conversion nanoparticles with only one sensitizer to absorb near-infrared photons cannot meet the needs. Hence, NaYF4:Nd3+/Yb3+/Er3+ rare earth doped up-conversion nanoparticles with dual-sensitizers are synthesized. By doping rare earth ions Nd3+, Yb3+ and Er3+, the photocurrent density of perovskite solar cells is increased from 20.87 mA cm(-2) to 22.74 mA cm(-2), and the power conversion efficiency is increased from 17.95% to 19.23%, an improvement of 7.13% compared with reference device.
