摘要
A convenient and effective method for the construction of C-S bond under transition-metal free conditions was reported. Thus, diverse thiocarbamide esters could be smoothly obtained in moderate to good yields from inexpensive and readily available starting materials, such as phenyl isothiocyanate, alcohols and benzyl halides. This method features mild conditions, easy operation, short reaction time and broad substrate scopes, providing a facile and convenient strategy for the preparation of some compounds with potential biological activities.
