摘要：

The considerable volumes of non-destructive testing of objects and equipment which have critical service lives requires an increase in the performance and reliability of the most widely used methods - X ray and manual ultrasonic testing. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods in the testing of welds and the parent metal of piping, vessels, metal structures and so on are well known.
