The cell volume effect in barium strontium titanate

摘要
The Curie temperature T-c of BamuSr1-muTiO3 as a function of the composition and the lattice parameter gamma (i.e. a or 3 root a(2)c) is examined. Near the end of mu approximate to 1 and mu approximate to 0, if is compared with the lattice parameter dependence of T-c of BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 respectively. It is argued that the variation of T-c in BamuSr1-muTiO3 is determined by changes in the cell volume whether the change is produced by a change in pressure or a change in composition.
