摘要
The Ni-base superalloy Rene-80 is widely used in manufactring of the first stage blades of gas turbine engines. The influence of continuous annealing at 850 degrees C for 100, 500, 750 and 1000 hr on microstructure, hardness, stress-rupture and mechanical properties have been investigated. Test specimens for creep tests were prepared from the heat treated and annealed materials according to the ASTM-E139. Creep behaviors are generally determined by means of a test in which a constant uniaxial load and temperature, 190MPa and 982 degrees C according to GE standard. As a result, microstructural investigation by means of optical and scanning electron microscopy showed the gamma' particles have been spheroidized and coarsened according to LSW theory. Also this phenomenon caused to diminish hardness, creep strength and creep life time.
