摘要
Small amount of Yb2O3 were added in SO4-Lu2O3-SiO2 ceramics to improve their mechanical properties, and effect of the addition on gas-pressure sintering behavior and mechanical properties were investigated. The addition of small amount of Yb2O3 improved high temperature strength as well as fracture toughness, though the addition led to pore formation after gas-pressure sintering.
