摘要
The main objective of the current research was investigating the possibility of using a poly(acrylic acid)-co-acrylamide/bentonite composites for removal of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions with different concentration of salt. A mineral-containing hydrogel composite were prepared by radical polymerization in the water at temperature 30 - 45 degrees C. The polymeric matrix was received on the base of sodium salt of acrylic acid and the acrylamide taken in various ratios. Ammonium persulphate tetramethylethylenediamine was used as initiator oxidation-reduction system, and N,N'-methylene-bis-acrylamide as the cross-linked agent. The sorption processes of cobalt ions from aqueous solutions were studied. It has been shown to influence the proportion of bentonite sorption kinetics of cobalt ions from aqueous solutions of different concentrations. Investigated polymer nanocomposite could be effectively used for removal from water solutions of toxic pollutants.
