This article focuses on entrepreneurship education, presenting research carried out on the relationship between entrepreneurship education and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The general objective is to understand the impact of entrepreneurship education on the development of entrepreneurial skills of students at the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo de Inhambane (ESHTI), according to the three categories presented by the European Commission (2016) - attitudes, skills and knowledge. For this, we approach the main concepts of entrepreneurship education: the impact of entrepreneurship education in higher education, the syllabus, teaching and learning methods, entrepreneurial skills as well as the role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in promotion of entrepreneurship education. This is a case study, using a mixed methodology, resorting to the questionnaire survey, the interview technique and content analysis for data collection. We chose to apply a questionnaire survey to students to assess their perception of the impact of entrepreneurship education at ESHTI and we conducted interviews with professors who teach the entrepreneurship curricular units to identify the contents as well as the methods used in the classes and analyse ESHTI's internal documents related to entrepreneurship education. With this study, we concluded that entrepreneurship education at ESHTI is contributing to the development of entrepreneurial attitudes, knowledge and skills in students.
