Enhanced 4I11/2 → 4I13/2 transition rate in Er3+/Ce3+-codoped tellurite glasses

摘要
The population feeding rate from the I-4(11/2) level to the 1.5 mu m fluorescence-emitting I-4(13/2) level of Er3+ ions in tellurite glass hosts is enhanced by codoping with Ce3+ under optical pumping at 980nm.
