摘要
Encryption is the most powerful way used to ensure data security. In fact, with the increasing rate of internet use, data security, including images, is primary. In past few years, a lot of encryption algorithms have been suggested to protect digital images against all kinds of attacks, including statistical and brute force attacks. This paper introduces an image encryption scheme based on enhanced elliptic curve crypto system (ECC). ECC crypto system is enhanced using Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) computing. The Plain image is mapped using the mapping methodology based on a map table, and its encrypted by ECC. A new DNA sequence is obtained by encoding each point. Next, we use the DNA operations (XOR, +, -) to obtain the cipher image. The proposed model provides two levels of security. The elliptic curve cryptography deals with the first level of security, while the second level is provided by using DNA Computing. The obtained results after a simulation experiment, performance evaluation and comparison to other encryption algorithms, showed that the proposed algorithm is able to resist brute force, statistical, and differential attacks.
