摘要
Bioabsorbable lactide polymers and copolymers were self-reinforced by die-drawing to increase their strength and ductility. Self-reinforced materials were applied in manufacturing ultrahigh-strength implants, like pins, screws, tacks and stents, for tissue management in different disciplines of surgery.
