摘要
Manufacturing execution system (MES) is the bridge that connects enterprise resource planning (ERP) to process control system (PCS). It is also the key factor for process industry that is consisted of ERP/MES/PCS. Because the different ways of business management in different enterprises, the uniform standard in the manufacturing execution still doesn't exist. Every project of MES has its specific characteristics. This paper analyzes the structure and functions of MES for coal preparation plant and characteristics of mining enterprise, and design a concrete system structure of MES for coal preparation with wonderware FactorySuit A(2). This system realized the real-time information of PCS and the integration of ERP as well as the integration of production and management information. It has great significance for the ERP/MES/PCS structure of mining enterprise.
