摘要
In this paper, a new wideband single-layer lossy frequency selective surfaces (FSS) absorber using Double Fractal Square Loops (DFSL) array is proposed. A unit cell of the periodic structure for the absorber is designed and simulated. A simple equivalent circuit model is proposed that predicts the plane wave transmission characteristics for normal incidence. The absorber consists of a copper layer and some lumped resistors. Therefore, the fabrication of the proposed structure is easy and with no resistive sheets. The simulation results show that the fractional bandwidth of 133% is realized for at least 10dB reflectivity reduction illuminated by the normal incidence over the frequency range of 1.98-8.64 GHz.
