摘要
Electroluminescence properties of a new type of nanocomposites based on aromatic polyimides and containing nanocrystalline J-aggregates of cyanine dyes were studied. The electroluminescence spectrum of the composites represents a narrow strong band with a maximum at 675 nm. The J-aggregates of this type are effective accepters of the exciton energy: their presence suppresses the emission from both monomeric dye and the aromatic polyimide.
