Multiplication of domain walls by eddy currents in nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials

摘要
Multiplication of domain walls by eddy currents under high magnetising frequency in field-annealed nanocrystalline soft materials was investigated. Direct evidence for multiplication was observed at a critical field H-ct. It allowed the determination of the wall energy and the effective anisotropy <K> = 14.3 J/m(3). This result can be well explained by an adaptation of the Herzer formula by considering a contribution of the field-induced anisotropy to the magnetisation process. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
