摘要
The paper presents a new type of oxygen-enriched burner that is applying for patent of China. It can be used in pulverized coal fired boilers of power plant and achieve the ignition technology of oxygen-enriched and oil-free. It uses oxygen-enriched gas transport pulverized coal and adopts heat exchange technology of counter flow and downstream in three casing pipes, which can increase the maximum burning velocity (dw/dt)(max) and the average burning velocity (dw/dt)(mean), and decrease ignition temperature T-i and burnout temperature T-b of pulverized coal. As a result, the pulverized coal fired boilers are easier to be ignited and the comprehensive combustibility index S is improved. In the paper the different structural characters between the traditional oxygen-enriched burner and the improved type are analyzed, as well as the use of CFD simulations to illustrate the fine nature of this improvement.
