摘要
In this paper,a two-dimensional metal photonic crystal structure with rectangular lattices is designed. It is composed of a finite number of metal rods, which can make the antenna in the center of the structure get good directionality in a certain frequency band. It is different from the directional radiation of the dielectric photonic crystal in the optical band, and the principle of photonic crystal is applied to the microwave frequency band. We probe the influence of different frequency and the number of metal rods on the antenna directionality,the simulation results are compared and analyzed. It is found that when the number of transverse metal rods is increased, the directionality of the antenna is enhanced and the sidelobe radiation can be reduced. We optimize the design of the structure, so that the antenna located in the center of the array can get good directionality at 1.25GHz, 1.3GHz, 1.35GHz three frequency points. The design of the metal photonic crystal improves the effective utilization of radiation power and makes the antenna to get good directionality, it can be used for long-distance mobile communication.
