摘要
Symptomatic, recurrent anterior shoulder instability requires stabilization, open or arthroscopic. The arthroscopic approach has, in the past, been associated with a worrisome recurrence rate. By adhering to strict clinical and technical criteria including restoration of the proper resting length of the glenohumeral ligament as well as recreation of the labral "bumper," current arthroscopic techniques can offer success rates comparable to those reported with open techniques.
