摘要
This article outlines a stochastic algorithm for modelling stochastic intensity fields by a two-dimensional Markov renewal process. The selection of the alphabetical structure and grid characteristics based on the grid structure (one form of edge structure/morphology of the field) is determined manually by the operator in advance. The presented algorithm allows the generating of different types of grid structures with horizontal, vertical and diagonal elements in an 8-adjacency. The algorithm will provide an excellent basis for the designing, analysing, validating, and quality assurance of image processing systems.
