Surface Morphology of YBa2Cu3Oy Single Crystals after Hydrogenation

摘要
The influence of hydrogenation at T = 150 degrees C on the structure of the YBa2Cu3Oy single crystals with different oxygen contents has been investigated using polarization optical and scanning microscopy methods with texture-orientation EBSD-analysis. It has been revealed that in the hydrogenation process on the surface of the YBa2Cu3Oy single crystals there is a partial reduction of copper with the formation of nanosized crystals of metallic copper coated with a Cu2O layer.
