Polarization-independent depolarizers for highly coherent light using Faraday rotator mirrors

摘要
We propose two novel polarization-independent optical depolarizers for highly coherent light using Faraday rotator mirrors (FRM), One uses delay fibers, and the other uses frequency shifters for depolarization, We demonstrate experimentally their polarization-independent depolarization. We also discuss the factors degrading the performance of these depolarizers.
