Calcium phosphate deposition on dentin bonding agent in electrolyte solution

摘要
The aim of this study was to investigate mineral induction on a dentin bonding agent in vitro. The composition and properties of calcium phosphate deposited on a dentin bonding agent after immersion in electrolyte solution were investigated. Through X-ray diffraction, infrared spectrometry, electron probe microanalysis, and scanning electron microscopy, the main component of the calcium phosphate was determined to be carbonate-containing hydroxyapatite. Dentin bonding agents containing phosphate ester methacrylate have a possibility to induce calcium phosphate formation in vivo.
