摘要
Multipath is a well-documented source of degradation in receiver performance. To combat the degradation caused by multipath, antenna diversity typically has been suggested as a solution. With the crowding of the ISM band at 2.4 GHz, further measurements are needed to better characterize and accurately model the wireless channel in various user environments. This paper presents the results of indoor experiments conducted to determine the spatial correlation between a pair of antennas. The measurements indicate that p < 0.5 for in-room and room-hallway scenarios for interelement spacings larger than 0.5k.
