摘要
The features of dual three phase induction motor drive with digital current control in the stationary reference frame are discussed. Using vector space decomposition, the machine is represented as two stator rotor pairs of windings in two orthogonal spaces, where first stator rotor pair leads to the electromechanical energy conversion. The current control scheme is designed in way that enable operation without generation of any stator current components at fundamental frequency while space vector PWM should not generate output voltage harmonics. The current control scheme uses two pairs of current controllers in which first one controls the flux/torque producing stator current components while second current controller provide imbalance compensation. This voltage source inverter (VSI) fed dual three phase induction machine has improved noise characteristics leading to improved efficiency thereby making it useful for high power application.
