摘要：

Single crystals of congruent melting hexagonal VB2 were grown using a triarc furnace applying the Czochralski technique, Orientation dependent microhardness measurements on a single crystal reveal quasi similar hardness in the crystallographic directions [00.1] and [10.0], whereas the [10.1] shows slightly lower values.
