摘要
This paper proposes an approach for reservoir simulation with which the work of numerical simulation is substantially simplified. This study demonstrates that end point matching leads to identical prediction result with allthrough history matching and presents a method to attain end point matching. According to this research, when we perform a reservoir simulation work, we need not to do allthrough history matching. We can get the same prediction result just by matching the indexes such as water cut, pressure, residual oil saturation and recover degree at the end point of the whole history. This improves the efficiency of reservoir simulation to a large extent.
