摘要
The performance of two wavefront sensors, the Shack-Hartmann and the pyramid wavefront sensor, for use in a closed-loop adaptive optics system, are compared. Their theoretical performance is derived and compared to simulations. We quantify the advantages of the pyramid sensor under normal operating conditions, and discuss the possibilities of achieving this in practice. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
