摘要
We present a theory of the development of the syndrome of deviant behavior and a resume of the empirical knowledge supporting the theory. The deviant behavior domain is delimited as four categories (overt, covert, authority conflict, and reckless behaviors) and twelve forms of deviant behaviors. Its course is described through its quantitative and qualitative mechanisms and trajectories. In addition, the developmental process of deviant behavior is conceptualized as a self-regulation process with the help of developmental psychology and the chaos-order paradigm.
