摘要
Recent studies indicate that some PAH degrading bacteria may have adapted to the low bioavailability of sorbed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This could play an important role in the selection of PAH degrading bacteria in PAH contaminated soil. This study suggests that Mycobacterium spp. are better adapted to degradation of sorbed PAHs than PAH degrading bacteria from other genera, such as Sphingomonas and Pseudomonas. Moreover, Mycobacterium spp. were especially found in the clay fraction of a PAH contaminated soil, where PAH concentration is high and bioavailability of PAHs is low.
