The Public Participation in the Revising and Implementing of the New Round Over-all Land Use Planning

As the land use planning in China is increasingly developing and improving, though the public participation in it has a good beginning, it is still on the initial phase. The transparency and public participation of planning are not sufficient. The majority of the public belong to the afterward or passive participation. Some important plans are decided directly by the government without the public participation, and also the planning is just confined in the preparation part. The essay here mainly focuses in the present situation of the public participation in land use planning, as well as putting forward some concrete proposals.
