摘要：

The new organic chloride salt incorporating an aromatic primary amine with a chiral functional group, (S)-alpha-methylbenzylammonium), has been synthesized by slow evaporation method at room temperature. The crystals are trigonal with non-centrosymmetric sp. gr. R3. The crystal packing is determined by N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds and C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions between the aromatic rings of the organic moieties, resulting in supramolecular architecture.
