摘要
A new electrochemical sensor based on CuS nanoparticles for detection and estimation of hydrogen peroxide in human urine has been developed. The non-enzymatic amperometric sensor was fabricated by immobilizing the synthesized CuS nanoparticles on surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) using direct drop coating techniques. The proposed sensor shows high electron transfer ability, good electrochemical behavior and exhibits electrocatalytic activity towards reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in aqueous medium. Under optimal conditions, the electrocatalytic response of the sensor was proportional to the H2O2 concentration in the range from 10 to 1900 mu M with a detection limit of 1.1 mu M (S/N = 3). In addition, the CuS/GCE based sensor displayed faster response, high sensitivity and good anti interference ability. Based on this electrochemical process, the concentration of H2O2 in human urine can be monitored conveniently. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
