摘要
This letter develops a discontinuous Galerkin timedomain (DGTD) method based on a marching-on-in-degree (MOD) scheme. With the use of weighted Laguerre polynomials as entiredomain temporal basis functions and Galerkin temporal testing procedure, the time variable is eliminated. Based on the MOD scheme, the proposed algorithm is free from Courant-FriedrichsLewy limitation and promising for simulating multiscale transient electromagnetic responses and overcoming the long-time instability of uniaxial perfect matched layer in the DGTD. Numerical examples demonstrate the good performance of the proposed algorithm.
