摘要
Social and literary Italian histories walk together from ancient times. There is a flu rouge between politics and literature in Italy but not only. The fascist twenty-year period left some of the most interesting pages about censorship, but it also left a large amount of ideas, types of writing and forms of opposition that still today we are able to believe in the power of words, of literature. Anti-fascist history in Italy is studied with great figures that made the spread of a strong 'opposition thought' against the regime possible, even though sometimes it was banished to a corner of a marginal question. These 'opposition thoughts' also refer to the history of literary translation, when it was unaware of the revolution it was producing in a country strongly based on its 'canon.' By the voice of some poets-against-the-regime that changed the history of this country I will outline a path till the present time where the fascist twenty-year period seems to be far away only considered chronologically. A path about the role of the 'Italian words' against the oppression of the power, that is still occurring.
