摘要:
Aerial sketch mapping has been used as a detection and monitoring tool, over large geographical areas, for over fifty years. Mexico, Canada and the United States share a common need, sketch mapper expertise. Aerial survey data is only as good as the sketch mapper. The leadership of the Forest Health Monitoring Program in the United States for standardization and support of aerial sketch mappers can serve as a model for improving the quality and quantity for aerial surveys in all three countries.
