摘要
In this paper the demagnetization faults that occur in a axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) synchronous machine using 3D finite element method (FEM) are studied. Two different generator topologies, a single rotor and a double rotor coreless topology, are simulated. The harmonic components of the spectrum of the back-emf and the stator current waveforms are calculated and the fault indicator harmonics are extracted and discussed.
