摘要
An analysis has been carried out to study the heat transfer analysis and MHD stagnation-point flow of a viscous fluid over an unsteady stretching sheet in a porous medium with slip condition. For the present problem, the governing equations are transformed into a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations by means of similarity transformations. This system is solved both analytically by an analytic technique, namely the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM), and numerically using a shooting method with Runge-Kutta algorithm. The influences of the involved parameters on the flow and temperature fields are graphically illustrated and analyzed. The results obtained by means of both methods are compared and found in excellent agreement. (C) 2014 Sharif University of Technology. All rights reserved.
