摘要
The technique of coronal mass ejection (CME) mass estimates from the energy of stellar flares has been applied to the data on the flare activity of late-type stars. In this study we use the data from catalogs on stellar flares obtained from the results of observations with the Kepler Space Telescope and present the relations between CME mass and effective temperature for objects from these catalogs. We have established that, in this case, the range of CME masses is similar to 10(19) -10(22) g, with an increase in the CME mass being observed as we pass to hotter (more massive) stars. We consider the data for several well-studied active stars that characterize the possible range of CME properties for cool dwarfs. Our results are compared with the data found by an independent method of estimates of CME characteristics from spectroscopic observations. The CME masses estimated from the empirical relations for flare energies exceed the CME masses found from the asymmetry of Balmer hydrogen line profiles.
