摘要
We have followed the evolution of low-mass, initially metal-free stars from the zero-age main sequence to the late AGB under the assumption of pollution with external, metal-rich material and in the presence of diffusion. We identify conditions under which helium-flash induced mixing between the envelope and carbon-rich layers occurs and compare the resulting surface abundances and post-flash stellar parameters with those of observed extremely metal-poor stars.
