An Analysis of Present Situation of International Trade of Agricultural Products in Our Country and the Perfecting Countermeasures

Along with development of society and economy as well as opening and reform process in our country, import and export trade of agricultural products in our country has been also promoted after China's entering into WTO, and the proportion of agricultural products in international trade is also constantly increasing in recent years. Foreign trade of agricultural products is an important part of international trade, the scales of agricultural products' international trade has been also gradually expanded after China's entering into WTO accordingly, thus it has become the fifth biggest export country of agricultural products and fourth biggest import country of agricultural products. Agriculture is still weak point of national economy, and it is also facing with serious difficulties and challenges. However, there are still some existing problems of international trade of agricultural products in our country such as low quality of export agricultural products, trade deficit, anti-dumping of agricultural products etc. This paper makes an analysis of present situation of international trade of agricultural products in our country and the perfecting countermeasures. It firstly gives a brief introduction of the whole paper and reviews some information of international trade theories. Then this paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of international trade of agricultural products in our country. After that this paper proposes some perfecting countermeasures of international trade of agricultural product, which is of important strategic and guiding significance to promote long-term and health development of agricultural international trade in our country.
