摘要
Vanadium pentoxide is recently known as a material with good gas sensing properties. This study proposes a simple method of synthesizing rolled sheet V2O5 nanomaterials directly from vanadium metal. By adjusting the processing temperature, the dimension of the nanosheet can be controlled. Analytical techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, UV-Vis, Raman were used to study the morphology and structure of the fabricated material. The rolled-up nanosheets exhibited good ethanol sensitivity compared to several ethanol-sensitive materials over the past two years. The gas sensing model explaining the superiority and suitability of the material structure in the application of gas sensor was proposed and discussed.
