Discrimination of Processed and Unprocessed Rhizoma Corydalis by Using Principal Component Analysis Combined with Artificial Neural Network Based on the Chromatographic Fingerprints

摘要
Rhizoma Corydalis can be processed with vinegar. The chemical constituents and usage of processed Rhizoma Corydalis are different to the unprocessed Rhizoma Corydalis. In this article, a chemical method based on pattern recognition and chromatographic fingerprint technique for discriminating processed and unprocessed Rhizoma Corydalis is proposed artificial neutral network (ANN) combined with principal component analysis (PCA) were used to build the discrimination model. The model was validated with leave-one-out cross validation. The combination of PCA and ANN resulted in a 100% discrimination accuracy. ne result demonstrates the practicability and robustness of the proposed method.
