摘要
Many successful solutions have been found to the problems in technology of proton exchange membrane fuel cell to automobile. However, further rsearch is required and in this paper, the issues associated with polymer electrolytes membrane, electrocatalyst, production and supply of hydrogen gas, anodic electrolytes tolerant to carbon monoxide, optimizing thermal and water management, gas diffusion layers are evaluated and suggest areas where renewed focus of research and development efforts will accelerate proton exchange membrane fuel cell in automotive applications.
