摘要：

In this paper, a general iteration scheme is developed to compute the median of a finite mixture of k components of a particular form that is useful in life testing studies and other areas as well. Tables for the computation of the median of a finite mixture of two components are produced when the components are of the forms of the Weibull, including the exponential and Rayleigh, compound Weibull (three-parameter Burr type XII), including the compound exponential and compound Rayleigh and Pareto, beta and Gompertz distributions.
