摘要
The evaluation study of housing affordability is the foundation of reasonably planning of housing supply structure and establishing a improved housing security system. The paper identifies evaluation index by using factor analysis, establishes the evaluation pattern of urban residents' housing affordability and appraises the urban residents' housing affordability in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It is estimated that the cost of purchasing a house in mortgage. loan is lower than renting a house of the same size if the income is increasing and sown payment is affordable. The problem of urban residents' housing affordability in Beijing is the most conspicuous,Tianjin ranking the second and Hebei the last. The government should implement housing security for a family with an income lower than 58,560 in Beijing, 28,992 in Tianjin and 17,856 in Hebei.
